Seoul Tourism Organization

The Seoul Tourism Organization is the official tourism representative of Korea’s capital city.

Founded in February 2008, STO is charged with showcasing Seoul as a leading destination for international visitors, highlighting the city’s rapid evolution into a world class business and culture center.

The Seoul Convention Bureau, a division of STO, focuses on the meetings, incentives, conventions and exhibitions markets and works closely with the city government to attract events to Seoul. STO engages in convention support, event planning services and promotional campaigns in its mission. SCB has an incentive program in place to draw major international gatherings to Seoul and further assists meeting planners with site inspections, bidding proposals and tourism related activities.

In 2010, Seoul is the official sponsor city of the Visit Korea Year with Seoul and the site of the November G-20 Summit.
