Elling Hamso is a Meeting Management Consultant and Managing Partner of the European Event ROI Institute. He has spent most of his career as a senior executive in the Norwegian oil and gas industry and later as a management consultant and manager of an event agency.

He has been a member of the European Council of Meeting Professionals International (MPI) and was ranked 5th on Conference & Incentive Travel magazine’s 2006 list of the most influential people in the UK meeting and event industry.

Hamso is a Management Sciences graduate and holds a Ph.D. in supplier - customer relationship strategies from Manchester University.
